Several representatives from private companies attended the event alongside Japanese Government officials and members of the Diplomatic corps in Japan.

Speaking at a Panel discussion on the development of infrastructures in Africa, Ambassador Bouhlal highlighted the numerous critical infrastructure projects developed by Morocco especially the water desalination unit in Lâayoune, the Dakhla Atlantic Port and the expressway Tiznit-Dakhla-Guergarate. He also highlighted water management infrastructure megaprojects, especially the development of additional Dams and Waterways to better mitigate the impact of climate change

Ambassador Bouhlal emphasized the investment opportunities and socio-economic benefits stemming from these projects

Japanese officials from MoFA, MLITT and JICA participated in the Symposium and delivered insights on the economic opportunities in Morocco.
