In his opening remarks, Ambassador Rachad Bouhlal highlighted the ongoing economic and development projects in Morocco, especially in the fields of tourism, port and airport infrastructure, energy and water desalination, pinpointing international partnerships and investments, and inviting Japanese businesses to join-in.

Ambassador Bouhlal also highlighted the recent declaration made by the British Foreign Affairs State Secretary, supporting Morocco’s Autonomy Plan for the Moroccan Sahara, considering it the most credible, viable and pragmatic basis for a lasting settlement of this regional dispute.
